Principles and Applications of Protein Engineering for Biotechnology
This newly developed course provides a theoretical framework for protein design and engineering and hands-on experience in biophysical analysis, protein modeling, and rational engineering. The class consists of lecture blocks (2h per week) and a dry lab block (1h). The dry lab component will provide practical implementations of the material learned from lectures and the exploration of protein modeling tools. This class does not include programming, and no programming background is required.

The course will also include various biotechnological protein engineering applications, including therapeutics, biosensors, biomaterials, biorobots, and bioelectronics. ScienMfic literature will highlight key discoveries and current work in protein engineering relevant to today’s Biotech industry.
